Sonic's POV I felt Shadow's life slip away and his body went limp. I knew that he was gone. I breathe unevenly. My heart began to skip a beat every few seconds. "Shadow?" I shook his body. Nothing. "Shadow?" I shook his body again. Still nothing. "Shadow!" I shook his body again, knowing it was useless. "Shadow! No! You can't be dead! You just can't be!!" I cried. I was crying nonstop now. I couldn't seem to control my feelings any longer. I cried on Shadow's dead, limp body. I heard Amy stir and moan slightly. "What's happened...?" She asked, quietly. Next morning Silver woke up with such a great feeling inside of him. He looked at Shadow who was still sleeping next to him, he was breathing slowly and it sounded really sweet. The great feeling inside of him grew even bigger when he saw the sweet expression on Shadows face. He couldn't resist and kissed Shadows forehead. Shadow moaned softly and openend his eyes. The next day was pretty calm and normal. Sure the last evening had been a real nightmare since Ruby went crazy after knowing someone drank her cider. Sonic didn't tell her that Silver did it, but Shadow could figure it out on his own. Dark had tried to calm her down but it didn't work so well at all.
